SGM804 可監控 1.6V 至 5V 的系統電壓。當 VCC 電壓低于復位閾值時，器件將發出復位信號；當 VCC 電壓升至復位閾值時，復位輸出將在用戶可調的復位超時時間內保持低電平，該超時時間由外部電容設定。此外，SGM804 還具有出色的瞬態抗擾度，能夠忽略快速的 VCC 瞬態電壓。
